Twilio SMS Client ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Twilio Account Credentials: Your Twilio Account SID, Auth Token, and optionally API Keys. These are stored locally on your device and used solely to communicate with Twilio's APIs on your behalf.
Contacts: Contact names, phone numbers, and photos you create within the App. These are stored locally on your device.
Usage Data: Anonymous analytics data such as feature usage and app performance metrics, collected through PostHog to help us improve the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

To send and receive SMS/MMS messages through Twilio's API on your behalf.
To facilitate voice calls through Twilio's Voice SDK.
To display your call history, conversations, and contacts within the App.
To improve App performance and user experience through anonymous analytics.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your Twilio credentials and contacts are stored locally on your device using secure storage mechanisms. We do not store your credentials on our servers beyond what is necessary to proxy API requests to Twilio. All communication between the App and our server, and between our server and Twilio, is encrypted via HTTPS.

5. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services:

Twilio: For SMS, MMS, and voice call functionality. Your use of Twilio's services is subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy.
PostHog: For anonymous product analytics. No personally identifiable information is shared with PostHog.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as required to provide the App's functionality (e.g., sending messages through Twilio) or as required by law.

7. Data Retention

Your data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed. Messages and call logs are fetched from Twilio's servers and may be subject to Twilio's data retention policies. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data including credentials and contacts.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Delete your locally stored data at any time by removing the App.
Remove individual Twilio accounts from the App's settings.
Request information about what data we process on your behalf.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the App or on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
